Celebrating anniversary of Bradford UNESCO City of Film, The International Film Education Symposium was held between 25th to 26th March at University of Bradford.
.Bradford City of Film has a reputation as a world leader in film education and delivers its own film literacy programme in partnership with the British Film Institute(BFI).

Besides focal points from across the UNESCO Creative Cities Network and BIF’s Head of UK Learning Programmes, 영화진흥위원회 Korean Film Council(KOFIC) joined the symposium as a keynote speaker, introducing Korean film education as well as Busan, the first UNESCO Creative City of Film in Asia.

From this year KOFIC conducted ‘film-education centered school project’ in Busan City of Film, utilizing Busan’s infrastructure for film•visual industry. This project is aimed at personality and creativity development of adolescents with film education, contributing to developing human resources and potential consumers in film industry, which makes Korean film industry much stronger.
