Busan International Film Festival kicks off today! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all film festivals around the world were forced to undergo a period of transition. As a result, the Busan International Film Festival has been contemplating a direction and vision of the film festival that is fitting for the new normal era, while taking into consideration BIFF's philosophy and methodology. The product of such contemplation for BIFF 2021 includes taking the first preparatory steps for the post-COVID-19 era with the launch of new programs.
