The 3rd Busan Intercity Film Festival & Film Production Residency Project will kick off soon in Busan UNESCO Creative City of Film!🎉

With its establishment in 2017, “Busan Intercity Film Festival Film Production Residency Project and” is aimed at contributing to the cultural development and active exchanges by expanding network between UNESCO Creative Cities of Film, commemorating the designation of Busan as a UNESCO Creative City of Film in 2014. The slogan of this edition is “Our City – Faces of the cities we live in”

The 3rd edition of Film Production Residency Project will be conducted in two ways – ‘Residency Busan’ – film production in Busan by an invited director from other city of film as it has done so far and ‘Residency Intercity’ – film production in other city of film by a local director based in Busan. This year, the director from Rome City of Film, Alessandara Pescetta, will participate in ‘Residency Busan’ which will be held in Busan while the director from Busan, Hwi-geun KIM will participate in ‘Residency Intercity’ which will be held in  Yamagata Creative City of Film.

During the Film Festival, films produced during residency project as well as brilliant local films from cities of film will be introduced. Also, various events including seminar, special focus program and exhibition will be welcoming audiences!💓
 

The 3rd Busan Intercity Film Festival will be held in Busan Cinema Center, from May 31 to June 3.
